Monster Hunter World arrives on PC much earlier than expected

Last weekend, Capcom briefly informed PC players via Twitter that on Monday, July 9 will share release details of the upcoming PC version of Monster Hunter World. They stick with their announcements so today arrived release date and the official minimum then recommended requirements for playing this game.

Instead of a late fall, as expected, hunting wild beasts in this game will start much earlier - already on August 9th of this year. Is there a better time to take a virtual spear in your hands than at a time when the heat does not even allow you to go to the fridge?

Monster Hunter: World for purchase will be available on Steam, and the PC version will include Collaboration Quests, which appeared on the consoles periodically. This is a special crossover quest where players can earn unique items from some other video games such as Devil May Cry, Mega Man or Street Fighter series.

Finally, Capcom detailed the game's minimum and recommended specs, they are as follows:

Minimum requirements

  • CPU: Intel i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • HDD: 25 GB

Recommended requirements

  • CPU: Intel i7-3370 @3.40GHZ
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • HDD: 25 GB

Also keep in mind that if it is to trust Capcom, the recommended configuration is enough to run the game in 1080p resolution at high graphics settings at 30 (!) fps.
