Portal 2 is getting 20 new maps and 30 new puzzles

Do you miss those small sweet robots that turn their friends into a pate? Would you like to be ridiculously frustrated while carrying blocks? If you answered yes, we have some good news for you. Although Valve has not yet learned to count to three, at the end of this year - more precisely, sometime in the fall - should come out the long-term work in progress for Portal 2 called Destroyed Aperture which brings 20 new maps, 30 new puzzles, and a campaign that lasts five hours.

Destroyed Aperture, a work in progress community-made Portal 2 mod that's been in development since 2015, these days finally appeared on Moddb's page with the lowdown that 95% of content is completed and also with a bundle of new screenshots from the game that display some of the locations we are going to visit. If you are not familiar with this mod, it is a very ambitious attempt to extend Portal 2 to something like a mini expansion. In addition to a large number of new puzzles, a new five hour-long story campaign that spans five chapters should also offer an interesting story, here's the lowdown:

"You take the role of a man named David that gets woken up in an overgrown and decayed Aperture Science Facility 7. Facility 7's central core has failed and destroyed any and every communication systems along with the environment and killed almost everyone. The facility has been in a decayed state for years, locking everyone in. But not all hope is lost, there still is a chance of escaping."

What was so far shown by the Dayin Creation team looks pretty good, so it would be worth to take a good look at this mode once it comes out.

wow a mod that adds 5 hours of content.  I think it took me around that much time to beat all of Portal 2.

Interstellar

I'd take some new co-op maps, but the lack of GlaDOS makes the experience less enjoyable.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

I just bought Portal 2, that's good news!
