Epic decided to take Fortnite's servers down temporarily, due to ongoing server issues following the roll out of Season 5 earlier today. According to a tweet from the company, it is looking into problems with logging in, matchmaking, and other game services.

In a brief statement on its Fortnite status page, Epic says, “We’re aware of and actively investigating an issue impacting multiple game services. We’ll keep you updated as we identify and work towards a resolution.” This probe is listed with “red” priority, while the PlayStation Party issue remains with an “orange” priority and Voice Chat Connectivity issues are listed with a “yellow” priority.

Fortnite Season 5 is a mishmash theme dubbed ‘Worlds Collide’ we could already perceive through the cleavage in the sky. There are so many different things going on in Fortnite's world: from Viking boats to an ATK field vehicle like a golf car. A whole team of players can fit in this vehicle and while you drift you get acceleration. You can also jump on the roof. Also added are new locations Paradise Palms, Lazy Links and Desert.

A significant change has been introduced to weekly challenges system that will now be divided into free and that one for subscribed to Battle Pass. And while we're already talking about Battle Pass, here's what brings with it during Season 5.

As for Save the World mode, this mode received Challenge the Horde event that will seek ultimate teamwork to defend against enemy waves. There is also a new set of weapons, as well as Western theme heroes.
