Ubisoft is banning player created content that conflicts with their microtransaction grind heavy approach

One of the most critized aspects of Assassin's Creed Odyssey was the slow progression and grind heavy mechanics of the game. With the launch of the Story Creator Mode, players were allowed to tweak the game to give more XP in the player created quests.

Ubisoft is now banning this kind of content, clearly because is in conflict with the store were they sell actual "XP boosts"

They give another excuse obviously, the quote says  "Since the launch of the beta we have noticed an increasing flow of 'farming quests', that exploit the tool to get large amounts of XP.” Reads the post from the AC community team. “These exploits risk jeopardizing the overall quality, integrity, and purpose of Story Creator Mode"

I wonder if selling XP boosts for a game doesn't also broke the entire game experience. But hey. It's Ubisoft
