Blizzard loses experienced developers.

For some time (about a year), Blizzard has been struggling with various difficulties and image failures and has not been successful.

This unlucky series is complemented by the fact that three experienced developers left the company - Dustin Browder, Eric Dodds and Jayson Chayes. Departures are associated with the cancellation of several projects from the StarCraft world (shooter and mobile title). The company has abandoned these productions to redirect its forces to work on Diablo 4 and the continuation of Overwatch. Here's how the company's spokesperson commented:

Yes, Eric, Dustin, and Jason made the decision to move on from Blizzard a few months ago. They have been and always will be considered members of the Blizzard family, and we've loved working with them over the years. We wish them the best for the future. That said, we want to make sure it’s clear that development of Blizzard games has always been a collaborative effort between many talented, longstanding teammates here continuing that good work.

All of these developers played important roles while working on key studio projects. Dustin Browder is the former director of Heroes of the Storm and the main designer of StarCraft 2. Eric Dodds and Jason Chayes worked on Hearthstone - the first as a director, and the second was production director.

Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 will most likely be announced during this year's BlizzCon.

Will this change the bad luck of Blizzard?

Bad luck ? Lol that's a weird way to call it. Blizzard is just like its name, iced cold smoke in the air.

Looking at their financial condition they look more then stable. But "bad luck" refers to the incidents impacting their image.
