We might already have a beta and release window for Diablo IV

In a leak that's been posted to reddit 4 months ago, we learnt that Blizzard are hoping for a beta phase to take place sometime in 2020 and release the game in late 2020 or early 2021 (although the leaker thinks 2021 sounds more feasible). 

Right now the goal is to get the game ready playable demo for Blizzcon's 2019 and of course all the marketing material as well. After that, it will be preparing for the beta in 2020 and then the release.

Release is being debated between late 2020 or early 2021 depending on how things go, but as of now it seems early 2021 is more likely. Will be coming to PC PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett.

Although I usually advise everyone to take leaks with a grain of salt, this one's actually proved to be quite accurate as many of the bullet points proved to be true (the classes available, the more dark/gritty style - return to form, the music, the game being more of an MMO, the evolution of the series combat, etc.).
