With free multiplayer, Battle Pass, progress synchronization between different generation systems and Zombies the new game in the series.

As previously announced, Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The title, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, is a sequel to the first Black Ops, with the events of its single player part evolving in 1981 and revolving around a story of conspiracy, deceit and deception, according to Activision. The player will even meet historical figures while visiting many places around the world (Moscow, East Berlin, Turkey, Vietnam, etc.) following in the footsteps of the legendary Soviet spy Perseus.

The game will offer free multiplayer and additional content (maps, new modes, etc.), will come with its own Zombies and events designed for its community, while it will also integrate a Battle Pass system - with a season of certain duration, missions and rewards. In fact, the player will have at his disposal items that he can use in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, while the two games will share elements that have to do with the progress of each of them.

It is worth noting, of course, that those who want to start playing in the current generation and then move on to the next, should definitely prefer the Cross-Gen Bundle digital version of the title at 74.99 euros since the cheapest simple (69.99 euros ) does not offer the possibility of free upgrade. In addition to the two aforementioned digital versions, the Ultimate is also available at 99.99 euros. Note that the same will apply to the physical versions with the PS5 / Xbox Series X being more expensive than the PS4 / Xbox One. The open beta dates of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be announced soon with the game available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 13 (later in the year on PS5 and Xbox Series X).
