Sunless Sea is a game of exploration, survival and loneliness set in the award-winning Victorian Gothic universe of Fallen London, developed by Failbetter Games Ltd. The game has left beta on 6th February 2015! Check the Road Map for the road traveled - and prepare for the journeys yet to come. Zubmariner expansion released in October 2016, and people who have bought the game in early access or people who contributed to the Kickstarter got the expansion free of charge.Set sail for the unknown! Light and darkness are your greatest allies, but a stout set of cannon and a gunnery officer with a grudge will come in useful too. Unless you eat them first.The actual gameplay consists of two modes- the player controlling the movement of the ship on the map with combat taking place in the same mode, and a story mode where the player is presented with several choices (sometimes accompanied by a skill challenge) in a card like format. The ship movement is quite slow. This, accompanied by the music creates an atmosphere of tension.
