Option to disable auto-play on video on homepage?

With so many stuck at home and using the Internet at record levels I feel it would be nice to be able to disable auto-play for those of us with slower connections.

Seconded. Just move it to any other pane.  It's not quality engagement if it's just shouting at people who are trying to come to a website that doesn't shout at them.

Turn off the autoplay on twitch streams. It is scummy

I ordered to block all autoplay in my browser, but alienware somehow bypasses it.

This situation has been going so long that I suppose that it is implemented on purpose.

Meaby I should change the shortcut for giveaways  https://eu.alienwarearena.com/ucf/Giveaway and visit nothing else?
