Highly recommend playing them in chronological order, especially the remakes like Fruit Punch mentioned. I found that when I used guides when I got stuck helped make it feel less scary lol. 4 and 5 are my absolute favourites!

Thank you! A google search tells me so many different things I got a bit overwhelmed lol. Lots of people suggest starting at RE2 remake or even at 4

Capcom did a great job remaking 1-4 they're better than the originals. Start with those! ^^
