I am able to choose Crossout on the Choose Your Own Game quest, but the actual Crossout quest pretends I don't have the game. What am I supposed to do?

You have to play the game a little before it appears to you in the Crossout quest. It happens to me always with all F2P Quest.

Yeah, try launch it and wait. If you set or a game you own is in the weekly game eventually it will count your playtime.
