In theory that should only happen if you won a giveaway and didn't activate the game on your account within 72 hours.

@MysteriousMrX I have won the giveaway and redeemed the key in less than 5 hrs of winning. After that I can still join the giveaways but today it is not allowing me to join any giveaway.

May be a bug in the system then. If you're on discord mention your issue (not sure if they'd prefer it in the giveaways or report issue channel, but one of those)

Cartire mentioned they made some recent Steam API optimizations, so maybe something there broke the redemption checker.
