Publisher of LawBreakers written off the game, and the guilt of poor sales moved to PUBG

Cliff Bleszinski presented us his own hero shooter in the eighth month of last year, which was originally intended for PC audience, but later the same arrived also to PlayStation 4. However, spreading to other platforms significantly did not help him and the failure of LawBreakers eventually resulted in the publisher lifting its hands from the poor title. Namely, Nexon written off the shooter and, as it seems, will no longer invest its money into its development.

"Our results in North America in the third quarter were below our expectations, mainly due to the sale of LawBreakers that failed to exceed our expectations", says one report. Amongst that, Nexon accused PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds for poor sale of their game.

"We had very high expectations for LawBreakers launch; however, its release time proved to be unfortunate, especially since the blockbuster PC online game PUBG released roughly at the same time, which is why the market environment for Lawbreakers but also for first-person shooters in general became dull".

Interesting! Hopefully PubG creators will find the right way to publish the game on multiple platforms.
