Rockstar Games are pushing hard to set a new standard with every new title they release. This trend continues with Red Dead Redemption 2’s new gun customization features. This feature can be accessed by seeing the Gunsmith of the town or city you’re currently in. Upon arrival, you can trade or sell parts of your current weapons to upgrade for more effective parts in combat.

Such as in Breath of the Wild you can locate the material needed to make the parts and bring them to the Gunsmith for your needed upgrade. Also, like in Breath of the Wild your weapon will wear down over time. Your guns will get dirty and will need a cleaning from the Gunsmith. Otherwise, they could misfire on you during combat.

This is cool as now the experience feels realistic to an actual gunslinger to which we all daydream of acting like when we would watch Spaghetti westerns.
