ARP 5.9
The dawn of a new day has begun. Or maybe it’s the sunset of a new night for some of you. We are a global website after all. Alienware Arena is excited to announce ARP 5.9, which adds new ways to earn Arena Reward Points (ARP). Over the next several months, we’ll be evaluating the new tools as we work toward the release of ARP 6.0. We don’t want to spoil the surprise for 6.0, no one likes an early spoiler. So, what’s different in ARP 5.9?
Initial Information:
First, it’s probably wise for us to acquaint anyone new with what ARP is and some terms to know.
Arena Reward Points, also known as ARP, is earned by participating in various activities and actions around the site. As you earn ARP, you will level up and gain more perks, rewards, and access. You can view the various rewards and perks on your rewards page. One of the biggest perks to leveling up is gaining access to giveaways which are level gated. This means you must be a certain level or higher to gain access to the giveaway. You can view your available ARP actions via the ARP Status Indicator (ASI). The ASI is your user-menu located on the right side of the site and can be accessed by clicking on your profile icon.
New Ways to Earn ARP:
Consecutive Logins – 7-Day Streak
Earn ARP each day and more on consecutive days you log into Alienware Arena, up to a maximum of 7 days, at which point the counter will reset to 0. Find this in your Daily Calendar on your ASI.
Twitch Quests – Coming Soon™
Earn up to 15 ARP per day by watching participating Twitch channels. You can find a list of currently live and eligible channels here. (This feature is coming soon.)
Steam Quests
Play specific games on Steam and earn ARP . You can view the available Steam Quests here . Steam Quests require that you connect your Steam account and set up your Steam profile. You can find more details at Steam Quest Setup .
Time on Site
Earn up to 5 ARP per day for just for being on Alienware Arena.
Achievements
As you use Alienware Arena, you will start to unlock new Achievements which will grant you extra ARP once achieved (Retired). You can view achievements on a member’s profile.
Refer-a-Friend
Refer friends to Alienware Arena and earn extra ARP when both of you level up.
Legacy Ways to Earn ARP:
28-Day Calendar
Earn ARP, and other rewards, for each day accrued throughout the month. View your calendar on your ASI.
Daily Quests
Play an assortment of mini-games and site actions to earn ARP and other rewards.
Say Goodbye to:
Community Gain
Community gain was a fun way of allowing the community the ability to award other members ARP for their contributions. However, it also led to bad actors trolling other members and causing discontent among the community. For this reason, and because we gave you many more ways to earn ARP, it will be going away.

There’s a reason we’re introducing more ways to earn ARP, but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out. For now, we’re letting everyone play with the new tools and earn more ARP than ever before.
We hope the experience is bug-free for everyone but understand that this is a major change to how ARP is earned and expect issues may occasionally pop up.
