Great!  I'm not sure why Epic thinks we need a free game every week but maybe its working for them.  Some of the stuff they been churning out lately is pretty common and ordinary been given out cheap before.

Its a market strategy to show people that Steam isnt the Go to and end all for gaming DRM's. So they are betting that giving games will build libraries on Epic and So some will pull away from Steams tight grip and also buy the games from there Store, which atm does give more cash to the Publishers and Devs. Dont get me wrong, being I love Steam but I also dont mind other DRM's. Though I do wish they did a thing like Movies Anywhere and no matter where you bought the game it was tided to your account and all DRM's linked that hornor it or agree to participate. So that way people can choose what DRM they want to use. Also this would protect our gaming investments or purchases in case one folds or goes out of business. I mean its working for them to a point and gets lots of traffic to the site, more so when its a AAA game or a well reviewed Indie. Truth most of the games given are well curated from good reviews or positve reviews. Like I said I love Steam but im not a big fan of monopolies.

Also in truth one of the reasons games are so high priced it due to how much Steam takes per sale. So devs and publishers have to mark it up to make cash for their game. And yes some of the high prices are due to good ole fasion GREED. As in GOOD ole EA Games, pumping out the same BS and charging crazy money for it , but this is also gamers fault also for rushing out and preordering it and knowing good and well with some of the games , nothing has changed lol

I mean look at Amazon they see the popularity of Epics Freebies and are now giving anywhere from 1 to 3 games every Thursday to Amazon Prime Members for FREE lol Sometimes its a AAA game, and other times its also well curated from positive Reviewed Indies. As for me I love FREE lol Also its what drew me to this site and hope that I could land a game for FREE, which is Dell's or Alienwares marketing strategy to get people here so they can showcase their new systems and stuff lol
